Telugu Association Germany (TAG e.V.) is a registered non-profit organization founded on 15 July 2025, proudly recognized as the first registered Telugu (Indian) association in Germany. Our vision is to bring together people of Telugu origin and well-wishers across Germany, creating a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community that celebrates our shared heritage while embracing the diversity of our adopted homeland.

At TAG e.V., we believe that culture unites people. Our mission is to strengthen bonds, build lasting friendships, and preserve the rich traditions, language, and values of the Telugu community for future generations. Through cultural festivals, family events, educational initiatives, youth engagement, charitable activities, and community support, we strive to create a true home away from home for every Telugu family in Germany.

Telugu, the official language of Andhra Pradesh, is celebrated for its beauty and was famously described by C.P. Brown as the “Italian of the East.” Our rich heritage, arts, literature, and traditions deserve to be preserved and shared with pride, not only within our community but also with the wider German society.
